Bob Nease, Ph.D.

Bob Nease is responsible for advancing the understanding of consumer behavior at
Express Scripts. To this end, he closely follows the latest emerging science around human behavior
and works to develop tools to help plan sponsors enable better health and value in the
pharmacy benefit.
Prior to joining Express Scripts, Nease was an associate professor of internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis and on faculty at the Dartmouth Medical School. He received
his doctorate from Stanford University, where he worked on methods to improve medical decisions made by doctors and patients. He is the past president of the Society for Medical Decision Making, has served as a study section member of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and is
a reviewer for a number of professional journals. He currently retains adjunct appointments at the Washington University School of Medicine and the School of Public Health at St. Louis University.
